For years I’ve struggled to develop a consistent habit of working in my sketchbooks. I have a stack of sketchbooks that are partially filled only to be set aside, sometimes for years, until when I pick them up there’s no sense of continuity if I were to begin sketching in it. So, I start another, only to set it aside and forget about it.
